This site was created to help Canadians find local alternatives to products they buy each and every day. The intent is not to increase disdain or hate for Americans, but rather increase the awareness and appreciation of Canadian businesses while highlighting the disappointing policy of the current US government. With our longstanding and intertwined history, we await the chance to stand close with our American friends again one day, but will use this time to strengthen our connections internally and with our allies.

Disclosure: This site is built with a US-based CMS based out of Portland (Concrete CMS), is hosted in a Canadian data centre by a company that is US-based, the DNS service is US-based, and will likely use analytics so we can see if anyone is looking at based in the US. These are the tools we have been using for over a decade and know well.. Completely decoupling from US goods and services is likely impossible - It is important to remember that small changes actually made are better than big changes planned but never executed. We'll spend some time this year reviewing some options in our digital toolkit and assessing the other options available to us.
